Accomodations are not included in your race enty fees. There was a desire to bring down entry fee costs so accomodations
are now a separate cost.
It is important that you have a reservation somewhere in advance! The race is happening during prime summer season, so if you
show up and do not have a place to stay it will difficult, if not impossible to find a place nearby to stay last minute. Please
plan ahead. We highly recommend you stay at Fortune Lake, as that is the race headquarters. Not only is it the location of the
start of the race, but the pre-race briefing will be there, as well as the post race dinner/party.
Accomodations at Fortune Lake vary from high comfort hotel style rooms, to bunk housing. Your team should be registered for
the race before making reservations at the camp. All accomodations are made available on a first come, first served basis, so
if you want to stay on site it makes sense to register for the race and make your reservations early! You will need to let the
camp office know how many people will be staying so that the we can insure you are assigned the correct room type for high
comfort rooms, and that there is adequate space in the other types of accomodations. To make reservations for accomodations
you can call the camp office directly at
906-875-3697. Credit cards are accepted for accomodations.
For a picture tour of the camp and the facilities, visit the FLLC Website.
